This offered lot is for ticket collectors and “Cheeseheads”—a complete set of four Super Bowl tickets (two fulls and two stubs) from each of the Green Bay Packers’ four victories in the big game.
Starting with inaugural 1967 Super Bowl I we have a gold variation stub (PSA VG 3) with bold colors and clean perforation. It has rounded corners and some creasing on the lower edge. The 1968 Super Bowl II stub (PSA VG-EX 4) is clean and vibrant with sharp upper corners and some excess paper remaining from the ripped off bottom portion. Both are $12.00 face value stubs from the end of Vince Lombardi’s championship dynasty. The Packers beat the Chiefs 35-10 in the first one and easily took care of the Raiders 33-14 in the second. Hall of Famer Bart Starr was named MVP in both games.
Green Bay’s two most recent Super Bowl triumphs are represented with a 1997 XXXI Purple Variation Full Ticket (PSA Authentic) that has been hole-punched for entry and a 2011 XLV Green Variation Full Ticket (PSA EX-MT 6) that has been scanned. Hall of Famer Brett Favre got his only career ring in the 35-21 win over the Patriots in SB XXXI—thanks in large part to MVP Desmond Howard. 14 years later his successor Aaron Rodgers earned MVP honors leading the Pack to an exciting 31-25 win over the Steelers.
