Presented here is spectacular “Gold Edition” complete set of 1989-2016 Pro Football Hall of Fame Goal Line Art series with an incredible 242 cards autographed! The creation of renowned sports artist Gary Thomas features every Hall of Famer enshrined in Canton. The first series of 30 cards in 1989 were limited to a print run of 5000. Those sets sold out the first year. With each new Hall of Fame class Goal Line Art produced a new set of prints for that class sold by subscription. Because the First Series sold out so fast demand remains very strong today and complete sets are very difficult to find. The 4" by 6" full-color artist renderings give each Hall of Fame player coach or executive an extremely detailed likeness on premium card stock thicker than your average postcard. It is truly one of the most beautiful and highly desirable modern sports card products providing autograph collectors an ideal canvas on which to honor their gridiron heroes.

This 1989-2016 “Gold” limited edition complete set includes a grand total of 304 art cards. Only 100 copies of these Gold Editions were distributed and sold through the Pro Football Hall of Fame which kept one for its personal archives. Very few up-to-date gold complete sets have ever been offered publicly (recent comps are well over five figures) and never before with this many autographed. If the NFL great was alive when his art card was produced then this set has his signature. Legends such as Red Grange Sammy Baugh Y.A Tittle Otto Graham Jim Brown Johnny Unitas Joe Namath Bart Starr Ray Nitschke Dick Butkus Walter Payton Barry Sanders Lawrence Taylor Joe Montana Jerry Rice John Madden Al Davis Paul Brown Doak Walker and Pete Rozelle to name a few have all signed carefully in black or blue marker that consistently rates 9-10/10 in our book.

Each card in the standard set of 303 has a distinctive gold stamp on the reverse and is serially numbered. This set is #7/100 except for the 2013 Hall of Fame Class which is #37/100. In addition to the standard numbered set Goal Line Art produced 50 proof cards for each respective player card. The proofs are identical to the regularly issued cards in every way except they do not have the gold limited edition stamp. Instead the proof cards feature a special blue "Proof" stamp on the reverse with a proof number (1-50) for that particular card. The proof card in this set Joe Namath (#4/50) is one of the more desirable and has been signed by Broadway Joe to add further luster.

Included with this 304-card set is its original Pro Football Hall of Fame leather presentation binder used to house the Gold Edition #7/100 set when it was originally distributed. This binder comfortably holds all cards through the 2004 HOF Class. From 2007 to 2016 each HOF Class set comes in smaller individual packages that resemble foldable booklets. A smaller two-card plastic sheet binder (also PFHOF branded) holds the 2005 and 2006 classes. Overall condition is NM+ to MT+. All autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
