Harold Leon Jackson wide receiver played 16 years in the NFL from 1968-1983. He was a five-time Pro Bowl selection two-time leader in receiving yards and leader in receptions in 1972 and touchdowns in 1973. His most productive years were spent with the Philadelphia Eagles Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots--three times exceeding 1000 receiving yards in a season. At the time of his retirement in 1983 he was the second-leading receiver in NFL history with 10372 yards.
This circa 1973-74 Los Angeles Rams road jersey is from Harold Jackson’s prime. In 1973 he led the league with 13 touchdown receptions and was voted first-team All-Pro. For the decade of the 1970’s Jackson ranked first in both receptions and receiving yards. The blue mesh jersey features Jackson's number 29 screened on front back and both sleeves with his last name on back. Sand Knit exclusive Los Angeles Rams dual tagging appears on front tail noting size "Large". Jersey shows light to moderate evident usage wear including a team repair.
Includes letter of provenance from previous owner detailing how he acquired the jersey. Also comes with LOA's from MEARS and Hunt Auctions.
