Super Bowl VI was played on January 16 1972 at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans La. between the Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins. The Cowboys routed the Dolphins 24-3 with Roger Staubach throwing a pair of TD passes to earn MVP honors. This Dallas team remains the only team ever to prevent their opponent from scoring a touchdown in the Super Bowl. This 1972 Super Bowl VI full unused ticket has been graded PSA EX-MT 6 and among the more common white variations is the highest graded example with only two others in the PSA registry. The $15.00 face value ticket—laughable when you consider today’s price—has a small horizontal scratch on the right edge but is otherwise crease-free with bold colors and fairly sharp corners.
