Kobe Bryant is the all-time leading scorer for one of the mostrecognizable franchises in all of sports. Bryant won five NBAchampionships two NBA Finals MVP awards and one regular season MVPaward in his storied career with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 18-timeAll-Star led the NBA in scoring twice and was named to 11 All-NBA FirstTeams. This 2000-01 purple road Kobe gamer hails from his fifth NBAseason when the 22-year-old “Mamba” increased his scoring average from22.5 to 28.5 per game and helped the Lakers win their second of threestraight NBA titles.
On the front left tail is a Nike size 50 manufacturer’s tag. Attachedis a “LENGTH +4” flag tag. On the left inseam is a materials tag withwashing instructions and a “2000-01" Nike year tag. On the left chest isan official NBA logo embroidered patch. Across the chest is “LAKERS”and across the upper back is an arched “BRYANT” both in gold on whitetackle twill; his initial player number “8” appears front and back inthe opposite format. Bryant has signed “Kobe” across the front number in7/10 black marker. The 100% Polyester Dri-Fit jersey shows light-to-moderateusage with stretching around the neck light fraying throughout and a red/brown spot (perhaps blood?) on the back number that would seem to make it a goodphoto-match candidate.
