Kobe Bryant is the all-time leading scorer for one of the most recognizable franchises in all of sports. Bryant won five NBA championships two NBA Finals MVP awards and one regular season MVP award in his storied career with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 18-time All-Star led the NBA in scoring twice and was named to 11 All-NBA First Teams. This 1998-99 purple road Kobe gamer hails from his third NBA season when the 20-year-old “Mamba” increased his scoring average from 15 to 20 per game and really began to turn heads on the hardwood.
On the front left tail is a Nike size 50 manufacturer’s tag. Attached is a “LENGTH +4” flag tag. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions and a “1998-99” Nike year tag. On the left chest is an official NBA logo embroidered. Across the chest is “LAKERS” and across the upper back is an arched “BRYANT” both in gold on white tackle twill; his initial player number “8” appears front and back in the opposite format. Bryant has signed “Kobe” across the back number in 8/10 black marker. Mesh jersey shows appropriate wear with number puckering and evident fraying. Elastic neck is slightly stretched as well.
