This lot features a complete collection of six (6) unused full tickets representing Games 1 through 6 of the 1981 World Series. It was a Fall Classic that pitted the New York Yankees against the Los Angeles Dodgers and unlike their previous World Series meeting in 1977 which the Yankees won in six games this time around it was the Blue Crew who emerged victorious in six games. The six tickets all appear to be in similar quality condition with one of them graded PSA VG 3 (rather harsh based on appearance). Commemorating the Dodgers’ 9-2 victory in the series clincher the Game 6 ticket is encapsulated in its very own PSA ticket holder. The remaining five tickets one each from the previous five games are all stored in tall top loaders.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method. If you would like your items shipped in a different method, such as UPS/FedEx Next Day or UPSFedEx 2-Day, you must contact our Post Sale Services Manager Veronica Rodriguez by emailing customerservice@scpauctions.com to discuss alternative shipping instructions. Prior to bidding, please be aware of estimated shipping costs, especially for large or heavy lots.
