Reggie Smith was an integral part of the Los Angeles Dodgers three National League pennants and their 1981 World Championship. From the twilight of the seven-time All-Star’s 17-year career with the Dodgers comes this Reggie Smith Louisville Slugger professional model B267 bat autographed by 30 members of the 1981 World Championship Dodgers team.
Signatures include: Lasorda Garvey Mota Yeager Reuss Scioscia Landreaux Russell Lopes Guererro Smith Baker Cey Valenzuela Johnstone Hooten and others. Interestingly the ever-present Dodgers ambassador and sometimes coach Sandy Koufax has also signed the bat. All have signed in the same uniform looking black marker with signatures averaging 8/10. “1981 WORLD CHAMPS L.A. DODGERS” is written on the handle in an unknown hand. Smith's number "8" is hand written on the knob.
