Featured here is a coveted 1978 Super Bowl XII White Variation Full Ticket graded PSA EX 5. The game between the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos was played on January 15 1978 at the newly-opened Louisiana Superdome in front of 75583. This marked the first Super Bowl played indoors and the first one televised in prime time. America’s Team defeated the Broncos by a score of 27-10 to capture their 2nd Super Bowl title. Defensive tackle Randy White and defensive end Harvey Martin were named co-MVPs for Dallas the first time two players shared honors.
One of the more elusive Super Bowl tickets especially in full unused form (pop 6 with 7 higher) this crease-free example with a laughable $30.00 face value displays vibrant colors and graphics with a super clean front and back. Slightly rounded corners are really the only blemish that accounts for the mid-grade determination.
It bears mentioning that we sold a PSA VG-EX 4 example last year for $14656 more than double its current SMR value. An EX 5 example just sold (Feb. 24 2018) for $16800 to exceed its SMR significantly as well.
