Presented here is superb vintage 1950’s Boston Red Sox Ted Williams sample jersey manufactured by McAuliffe.  The player quality jersey is made of a professional grade wool blend fabric and features the traditional red soutache that runs along the collar placket and sleeve openings. The seven-inch-tall rear numeral “9” and the three-inch-tall lettering of “RED SOX” across the front all in red felt on navy blue felt are identical in form and quality to Red Sox game jerseys of the period.  A blue Tim McAuliffe tag is stitched in the collar and a size “46” tag is stitched on the front tail.  The jersey shows no evidence of wear and retains superb display quality on par with the finest Williams gamers extant.
