A must-have for any Pirates or sports art collector this lot presents a limited edition (#117/300) LeRoy Neiman lithograph of the late great Willie Stargell. The world-renowned sports and entertainment expressionist artist depicts Stargell post-swing after he turns on one and drops his bat. The dimensions of this vibrant eye-catching piece are 27" by 37" with a 8"-9" white border matting for an overall size of 39” by 46”. The bottom has been signed by both legends--Stargell on the left and Neiman on the right--in 8/10 pencil. Unframed and rolled up cleanly this example comes in outstanding condition ready to be framed from Stargell's personal collection. As a bonus this image was used as the cover of our 2017 Spring Premier Auction catalog.
