Two sportsmen from their respective sports disciplines greater than World Heavyweight Champion boxer Muhammad Ali and Baseball Hall of Famer Willie Stargell would be hard to find. This lot represents a connection between these late sporting legends as Ali has autographed and inscribed the left Everlast red boxing glove within this set to the former Pittsburgh Pirates slugger in bold 10/10 black marker. Ali haspersonalized the inscription: “To Willie Love Muhammad Ali.” This pair of boxing gloves comes directly from the Willie Stargell’s personal memorabilia collection.
