Offered here are three pair of game-worn pants from legendary Dodgers manager Walt Alston who directed the fortunes of the club for 23 seasons between 1954 and 1976 winning 2040 games seven National League Pennants and four World Series crowns. He was selected as Manager of the Year six times. From such an august resume comes these game-worn pants from his personal collection a lineup that includes home pants from 1964 and road pants from 1965 and 1968. The 1964 home pants have the appropriate McAuliffe tagging at the back of the waist with adjacent flag tag with embroidered "64" with "Alston" and "38 26" embroidered in Dodger Blue flanking the manufacturer's labeling. Pants reveal considerable game use throughout including some staining on the back side but remain in superior condition largely as-issued and problem free with no sign of alterations of any description. Both the 1965 and 1968 grey flannel road pants have the Size 38 Rawlings label on the inside right hip with wash instructions tag alongside and flag tag with "Set 1 1965" and "Set 1 1968" below respectively. "Alston 38 27" is stitched in Dodger Blue on the 1965 pants and "Alston 39 26" on the 1968 pants. Both show game use but remain in superior condition largely as-issued and problem free with no sign of alterations of any description. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Family of Walter Alston.
