Featured here is a Tiger Woods autographed caddie bib worn by the man carrying his bag Joe LaCava at the 2013 Northwestern Mutual World Challenge. Hosted by Tiger Woods to benefit his foundation the World Challenge (once sponsored by Chevron and now Hero MotoCorp) is an annual tournament that takes place in December. It is not an official PGA Tour event. The 18-player field includes the most recent winners of the four majors the top 11 available from the Official World Golf Ranking the defending champion and two special exemptions. From 2000 to 2013 the tournament was held at Sherwood Country Club a course designed by Jack Nicklaus in Thousand Oaks CA. It has since moved to Florida. The winner of the 2013 World Challenge was Zach Johnson (-13) who defeated Tiger Woods in a playoff. Other notables in the field were Rory McIlroy Jordan Spieth Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson.
Joe LaCava replaced Steve Williams as Tiger's caddie in 2013. Before that he carried the bag for Dustin Johnson. The white vest has the "TW" logo and the tournament name on the front with "WOODS" and an American flag on the back. It shows plenty of use with grass and sweat stains on the front. Tiger has signed the back in 8/10 black marker.
Comes with a letter of authenticity from the former World Challenge tournament director and current PGA Director of Golf at Sherwood Country Club.
