Featured here is an official tournament-issued pin flag from the 2013 Northwestern Mutual World Challenge signed by the entire field including Tiger Woods Rory McIlroy Jordan Spieth Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson. The World Challenge (once sponsored by Chevron and now Hero MotoCorp) is an annual tournament hosted by Tiger Woods to benefit his foundation. It takes place in December and is not an official PGA Tour event. The 18-player field includes the most recent winners of the four majors the top 11 available from the Official World Golf Ranking the defending champion and two special exemptions. From 2000 to 2013 the tournament was held at Sherwood Country Club a course designed by Jack Nicklaus in Thousand Oaks CA. It has since moved to Florida. The winner of the 2013 World Challenge was Zach Johnson (-13) who defeated host Tiger Woods in a playoff.
The white flag measures 19 1/2" by 13" and has the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge and Sherwood Country Club logos. It contains 19 total signatures; Bill Haas has signed it twice. The list includes Woods McIlroy Spieth Watson D.Johnson Z.Johnson (winner) Lee Westwood Graeme McDowell Ian Poulter Jason Day Matt Kuchar Webb Simpson Jim Furyk Steve Stricker Jason Dufner Hunter Mahan Bill Haas and Keegan Bradley. All autographs are done in 8-9/10 black Sharpie.
Comes with a letter of authenticity from the former World Challenge tournament director and current Director of Golf at Sherwood Country Club.
