Featured here is an actual stadium seat removed from Three Rivers Stadium shortly before the longtime home of Pittsburgh's beloved Steelers and Pirates was demolished in 2001. The plastic seatback reads "Genuine Box Seat" and is numbered "10" next to a nameplate that gives the history of Three Rivers and the two teams that predominantly played there. Both the Steelers and Pirates called it home from 1970-2000. The stadium opened on July 16 1970 when the Pirates played their first game. In the 1971 World Series it hosted the first World Series game played at night. The following year it was the site of Franco Harris' Immaculate Reception in the AFC Championship. The final game played at Three Rivers was won by the Steelers on December 16 2000. Seatback is attached to a metal base and frame. Appears to be in VG-EX overall condition completely original with no restoration.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
