Presented here is an incredibly rare piece for any hobbyist: a first edition copy of First on the Moon autographed by the man who holds this heroic distinction Neil Alden Armstrong. Moonwalker collectors already know how difficult any Armstrong signature is to come by especially one of such high quality on a related artifact of importance. Thus we feel comfortable calling this one of the best single-signed examples you will ever see. Armstrong’s strikingly bold black marker signature (10/10 in our book) encompasses a 4” by 4.5” radius on the half-title page inside the front cover.

Little Brown and Company Boston – Toronto. Copyright 1970. First Edition. Cover has publisher's black cloth over thick boards. Title is blind-stamped on front with gilt title on spine. Missing dust jacket. Book remains in EX condition completely intact with just a slight rip on upper spine that does not affect binding. No torn pages inside from our inspection. Front and back cover show considerable wear with light fading on front at top-right corner.
Our consignor who was gifted this book is a longtime fundraiser of several military organizations and has served on many boards including one with Armstrong. Personal correspondence documenting their relationship is available upon request.
