From two former Sonics who spent most of their careers in Seattle but were never teammates comes this group lot of game-worn basketball sneakers. First we have Shawn Kemp aka "Reign Man" the 6-time All-Star who could touch the shot clock in his prime. Photos suggest he wore this size 15 pair of Reebok 'Kemp' high-tops in Sonic colors of green black and white in 1996 the year Seattle made it to the NBA Finals. They show excellent wear and each one has his signature in 8 black marker on the heel.
The next pair is from another guy who went straight from high school to the NBA Rashard Lewis. He is currently a member of the Miami Heat in his 16th NBA season. Both Kemp and Lewis stand 6'10" but their style of play could not be more different. Whereas Kemp was a double-double machine who played above the rim Lewis was a prototype small forward who slashed and shot his way to three 20-ppg seasons with Seattle in his prime. These Nike size 15 white high-tops with the Jumpman logo date to the early 2000's and each one has been signed on the back left side by Lewis in 8 black marker. They show solid wear. Both shoes come as issued in appropriate game-used condition.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
