A legendary point guard in a 20-year NBA career that included stints with five teams Jason Kidd was a 10-time All-Star a five-time All-NBA First Team member and a nine-time NBA All-Defensive Team member. He won his only NBA Championship in 2011 as a member of the Dallas Mavericks and was a two-time Olympic Gold Medal winner during his pro career as part of Team USA in 2000 and 2008. From 1996 to 2001 Kidd played for the Phoenix Suns and later for the New Jersey Nets from 2001 to 2008. He led the Nets to two consecutive NBA Finals appearances in 2002 and 2003. Kidd's ability to pass and rebound made him a regular triple-double threat and he retired ranked third all-time in the NBA for regular season triple-doubles with a career total of 107 and second in playoff triple-doubles with a career total of 11. Kidd wore this striking Phoenix Suns home jersey during the 2000-01 season an All-Star campaign highlighted by one of his top scoring averages 16.9 ppg.
This shimmering white home shirt has "Suns" and "32" in purple-on-orange tackle twill on the front and his No. 32 on the back with an additional stacked twill element in off-white and orange as background behind his "32" on the front. "Kidd" appears on the back across the shoulders in purple tackle twill. The iconic NBA patch appears on the upper left front. "Champion Size 48" and "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Phoenix Suns" tags are attached to the front-left tail with attached flag tags of "+3 Length" and "2000-2001" respectively. The collar of the jersey has the distinctive purple and orange knit trim and a side panel of purple with orange trim piping adds a further accent. Kidd has signed in black Sharpie on the front above the "Suns" lettering adding his "32" uniform number inscription.
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Phoenix Suns and a Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum Collection.
