The great Rod Woodson started out as a boilermaker and promptly became a Steeler upon graduation but this spectacular jersey with oversized white mesh was worn by Woodson in 1984 in his sophomore season at Purdue. Woodson wore this shirt in establishing a new record with 19 tackles in the Peach Bowl that year. The unique shirt has Champion "L" tagging on the lower left tail which is dramatically shortened as issued to barely 1 inch below the player number. His famed No. 26 is screened in gold and black on the front and back and "Woodson" is screened in black on a conventional white mesh shoulder panel that also has screened Peach Bowl logos on each side. Gold and Black stripes are screened on each sleeve and the embroidered Champion logo is on the left sleeve. Woodson has signed in black Sharpie to the left of his name on back adding his No 26 inscription. The jersey shows good game use and is essentially as-issued and problem free.
