Featured here is a super rare 1966-67 Chicago Bulls inaugural season home uniform game-worn by Bob Boozer complete with the jersey shorts and matching stirrups. The 6'8" forward out of Kansas State was originally drafted #1 overall by the Cincinnati Royals in 1959 and played alongside Oscar Robertson (drafted #1 overall in 1960) for three and a half seasons. The Bulls nabbed him in the 1966 expansion draft and posted the best record (33-48) for an expansion team in NBA history becoming the only team ever to qualify for the playoffs in their inaugural season. Boozer surely did his part nearly averaging a double-double with 18 points and 8.5 rebounds per game that year. He was a '68 All-Star the following season when he put up 21.5 and 9.8 each night. Boozer normally wore No. 19 with the Bulls but he would occasionally wear this alternate #13 at home that inaugural season as indicated by the attached scorecard from a 1/18/67 game vs. the San Francisco Warriors at Roberts Stadium. The white knit shell has "BULLS" and "13" in red with black trim on the front with a large "13" in the same color scheme on the back. Rawlings size 44 and washing instruction tags sewn inside back tail. Jersey displays extensive game use. White satin shorts have Bulls chenille embroidered logo on each side. Rawlings size 36 and washing instruction tags sewn inside back waistband. Shorts exhibit extensive game use with small fraying at lower left seam. Black white and red stirrups have Bulls chenille embroidered logos on both sides. One in great shape with the other having some separation at top of one logo. Awesome full uniform from the Chicago Bulls inaugural season game-worn by one of their best early era players that displays beautifully! Uniform originated from the collection of Bob Rosenberg who has served as the official scorer for a number of Chicago professional sports teams from the 1960's to the present.

Includes LOA from Troy Kinunen of MEARS.
