Featured here is a super rare 1966-67 Chicago Bulls inaugural season road uniform game-worn by Keith Erickson complete with the jersey shorts and matching stirrups. The 6'5" forward out of UCLA was drafted by the San Francisco Warriors in 1965 and played there one season before the Bulls nabbed him in the 1966 expansion draft. The 1966-67 Chicago Bulls posted the best record (33-48) for an expansion team in NBA history becoming the only team ever to qualify for the playoffs in their inaugural season. In 76 games for the Bulls that year Erickson averaged 7.7 points and 4.5 rebounds. The next year he would post 12.5 points and 5.4 boards per game for the Bulls before joining the Lakers and being a part of their incredible 1971-72 NBA title team that ran off a record 33-game win streak--still a record for all North American professional sports teams. The red knit shell has "BULLS" and "15" in white with black trim on the front with large "15" in the same color scheme on the back. Rawlings size 44 and "L" tags sewn inside back tail. Jersey displays extensive game wear with a few stains and a small hole on the back. Red satin shorts have Bulls chenille embroidered logo on each side. Rawlings size 36 and washing instruction tags sewn inside back waistband. Shorts exhibit extensive game use with small seam separation at lower back center. Black white and red stirrups have Bulls chenille embroidered logos on both sides. One in great shape with team repair at bottom. The other has team repair and some kind of residue on both sides. Awesome full uniform from the Chicago Bulls inaugural season game-worn by an 11-year NBA veteran that displays beautifully! Uniform originated from the collection of Bob Rosenberg who has served as the official scorer for a number of Chicago professional sports teams from the 1960's to the present.

Includes LOA from Troy Kinunen of MEARS.
