Late boxing great Sugar Ray Robinson the former World Middleweight Champion established an overall record of 173-19-6 during the course of his 15-year pro career (1951 to 65). This lot features a pair of on-site fight posters from Paris France stemming from two bouts Robinson had against upstart Parisian Armand Vanucci (20-7-4). Both fights were held in Paris one on October 14 1963 and the second one just seven weeks later on December 9 1963. Robinson scored two victories over Vanucci by outpointing him in both 10-round bouts. The two posters which are written in French and include black-and-white portraits of both boxers measures 15.5 wide by 23 high. Some creasing is evident although both posters are in fairly good condition.
