Mrs. Walter Alston's 1948 St. Paul Saints 10K Gold American Association Championship ring. In 1948 the Saints after winning the American Association title lost the Junior World Series to the Brooklyn Dodgers other Triple A minor league team the well stocked Montreal Royals 4 games to 1. Ring features a real diamond on top of a baseball diamond set in a dark blue stone. Surrounding is "ST. PAUL AMERICAN ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONS". Baseball diamond glove crossed bats and ball designs on both sides. Inside stamped "D&C 10K". Ring size 8 1/4. Weight 16 grams. Comes in the original Dodger Blue ring case with "Mrs. W. Alston" written on white tag on case bottom. Ring does have a considerable amount of wear indicating it was worn a lot by Mrs. Alston.
