Nice group of items from Walter Alston's days as manager of the St. Paul Saints and Montreal Royals 1947-1950 from his personal collection.
- Hand colored portrait photo of Alston as manager of the Montreal Royals framed to a size of 18" by 22".
- 1948 St. Paul Saints 11" by 18" team photo. Photo in pretty nice condition but borders on both sides cut off.
- Collection of 5 spiral notebooks from Spring Training in Vero Beach Florida in 1947 1948 1949 and 1950. Loaded with interesting content about his philosophy as a manager.
- 1950 action photo of Alston coaching at 3rd base giving the slide sign to an approaching Montreal base runner.
