Offered here is a large group of 75 lithograph prints of an original LeRoy Neiman painting of Jesse Owens he did for the famous athlete in 1983. Depicted in Neiman’s trademark abstract expressionist style, Owens is depicted in full stride as he makes his dash to glory at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. This lot of (75) 24" x 19¼" prints is an unsigned group gifted by the artist to the Owens family sometime after his death in 1980. Each one of these unsigned prints would typically retail for $10-15 apiece, making this a tremendous value-buy for dealers or art enthusiasts alike.
Includes LOA signed by each of Jesse Owens' three daughters.
