With no names on the back and based on the overlap of Orioles players wearing these numbers these orange Majestic batting practice jerseys were issued and worn 1981-1982 by the following (O's tenure listed):

#24: Rick Dempsey Catcher 1976-86#52: Mike Boddicker Starting Pitcher 1980-88#2: Bobby Bonner Shortstop 1980-83#6: Wayne Krenchicki 3rd Base 1979-81 (could also be 3B/C Floyd Rayford who wore it 1984-87)#57: John Flinn Relief Pitcher 1978-79 & 1982 (could also be RP Jeff Schneider who wore it 1981)#26: Dan Stanhouse Pitcher 1978-79 & 1982 (could also be C Al Pardo who wore it 1985-86)

In terms of style and tagging each jersey can be described as follows (only difference being the jersey number): Majestic orange mesh batting practice jersey (size not given) with classic 'Orioles' in cursive on front and number on back both appearing in black tackle twill outlined in white. BP jerseys typically do not have player's name on back. The team's orange white and black pattern appears on elastic end of both sleeves. V-neck has black elastic with white stripe in middle. In terms of wear jerseys vary ever so slightly. Breathable mesh fabric shows moderate to good wear little if any pilling and only slight fraying on some of the numbers and externally stitched tags. Each one comes largely as issued with no alterations of any kind and all proper characteristics of a batting practice worn jersey from that era.

Includes Letter of Authenticity from Orioles Scouting Director Tom Giordano.

The BP jerseys in this lot come from the personal collection of longtime MLB executive Tom Giordano. After a very brief playing stint at 2nd base for the Philadelphia Athletics in 1953 Giordano moved on to a coaching managing and scouting career in baseball that is now 66 years and counting (began in 1948 in minor leagues). He was Director of Scouting and Player Development for the Baltimore Orioles from 1976-1987 before moving on to similar baseball operations positions with the Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers. In 2007 Giordano was named East Coast Scout of the Year.
