This is yet another fascinating lot linked to renowned sports columnist Pete Vecsey whose role in covering the NBA can hardly be overstated over several decades. The pubs quite visibly derived from Vecsey's working career with many revealing handwritten notations and phone numbers on inside pages along with the aforementioned bounty of autographs from many of the greatest names in the NBA from an earlier era. The key items include a 1984 All-Star Saturday guide 20 pages and presenting in Excellent condition but with evidence of having been folded vertically with autographs on the cover from West Greer Debusschere Baylor and Monroe and signatures inside from Sharman McGuire Thurmond and Pettit. A handsome 1982 All-Star Press Notes kit boasts 21 single-side typewritten pages and front and back cover sheets all in Ex-Mt condition with five autographs featured most notably Nate Archibald Gus Williams Buck Williams and Michael Ray Richardson. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Peter Vecsey Collection.
