Recently rediscovered after nearly 60 years is this unique calendar presented at the 1963 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles. It is in a sharp black binder with the All-Star Game inscription in gold lettering on the cover, and remains in excellent condition.
It's a cool hoops artifact "as is", but soars in interest and value when you see that basketball legends of the day (and forever!) Wilt Chamberlain, Bob Cousy, Elgin Baylor and Jerry West have autographed the page. Their artistic penmanship is in bold blue ballpoint, along with other '63 All-Star players Rudy LaRusso and Guy Rodgers.
Famed play-by-play announcer Chick Hearn and former pro athlete and broadcaster Bud Blattner grace the page as well. (Blattner was a former major league baseball player who transitioned to broadcasting after his playing days).
