This is one of the rarest and most historically significant artifacts in all of sports collecting — a ticket stub from the inaugural 1930 FIFA World Cup, the first official World Cup ever played, held in Montevideo, Uruguay. This specific stub is from the Series 5 Knockout Round match played on July 22, 1930, at Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, in which Argentina defeated Chile 3-1 — an important result in the knockout stages of the most historic tournament in football history.

The stub is printed in red and cream on card stock, featuring "1er. Campeonato Mundial de Football / 1830 Montevideo 1930" and "A.U. de F." (Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol) in period typography, along with the stadium seating diagram showing the Tribuna Olímpica sections, ticket number 25265, Puerta 1, Graderia Baja, Sector 8, Asiento No. 45.

PSA has certified this stub at VG 3 (PSA #157238637) — an outstanding grade for a 95-year-old piece of sports history. Critically, the PSA Population Report shows only one example graded at this level and a total of only five examples graded across all grades, making this the finest graded example in existence. A true one-of-a-kind treasure from the birth of the World Cup.
