Beautiful 5" by 7" Paul Thompson black & white photo of Hall of Fame pitcher Grover Cleveland Alexander from his early days as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies. Alexander averaged over 27 wins a year during his 7 year stint with the Phillies from 1911 through 1917. Photo itself displays well with a few creases nothing that breaks the front surface paper. Part of the purple stamping on back reads "PHOTO BY PAUL THOMPSON". "Alexander Phila Natl" in pencil at upper left of back.
