In 1999 veteran right-handed reliever Gregg Olson posted a 9-4 regular season record for the National League West Champion Arizona Diamondbacks. In 61 appearances and 60.2 innings pitched he fanned 45 batters saved 14 games and recorded a 3.71 ERA. This lot includes a team-signed black Gregg Olson Pro Model bat autographed in silver by 29 members of the D-Backs that season including Manager Buck Showalter and key players Matt Williams Luis Gonzalez Steve Finley Jay Bell and Tony Womack. In addition this lot includes a Matt Williams-signed Diamondbacks game-ready home jersey. The size 50 Russell Athletic polyester jersey is pristine and includes proper tagging on the left front tail. DIAMOND BACKS is spelled out across the front in aqua green tackle twill outlined in white and purple while his uniform number 9 is purple tackle twill outlined in aqua. WILLIAMS is arched across the back in aqua tackle twill letters outlined in purple sewn directly onto the jersey. Williams has signed the back of the jersey in black marker.
