This 1999 All-Star Game ring was presented to Gene Tenace for his role as a coach in the American Leagues 4-1 victory in a game remembered more for a moving tribute to the great Ted Williams as The Greatest Hitter Who Ever Lived as an ailing Williams threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Fenway Park.
Adorned with such historic import comes this classic ring that has a CZ diamond on the face atop a raised 99 that lies atop a red stone encircled by Major League Baseball All-Star" in raised lettering. Intricate All-Star Game logo featuring Boston and the iconic Sox logo with the words All-Star Game 99 is on one shank in a sculpted figural; the other has the National League emblem logo in the same fashion beneath a sculpted notation of 1912 Fenway Park. Inside of the band is stamped Jostens Auralite. Comes in a black felt jewelry box; all elements of the ring appear to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition. Ring size 11. Weight 22 grams.
