Gary Peters played in the Majors from 1959 to 1972 mostly for the Chicago White Sox. He pitched in 359 games and complied 124 wins and 1420 strikeouts. This lot is for Gary Peters 1964 MLB All-Star game participatory award plus (4) old timers game commemorative gifts. Included is a Sliver Bowl 1964 MLB All-Star game participatory award with “1964 All-Star Baseball Game Shea Stadium Chrysler Corporation”. Bowl is in EX/NM condition with. (2) 1986 Chicago White Sox Comiskey Park “Old Timers Baseball Series” Awards. Both have silver baseball atop a black perch. Also a Philadelphia Phillies gold large ring trophy with wooden stand reading “Philadelphia Phillies Veterans Stadium August 13 1988”. Commemorating the Old Timers Series of 1988. Also another large Gold Ring trophy presented to Peters from the New York Mets Old Timers Day Game June 28 1975. Engraved on ring is G. Peters. NM with original black presentation box with gold plaque on top case reading “New York Mets Old Timers Day Game June 28 1975”.
