An extraordinarily scarce and visually striking piece of Kobe Bryant memorabilia, these limited-edition autographed Nike Zoom Kobe I sneakers were issued as part of the legendary “WHY81” scavenger hunt staged across Los Angeles on January 27, 2007—just one day after Bryant’s unforgettable 81-point explosion against the Toronto Raptors, the second-highest single-game scoring performance in NBA history.
The white leather high-tops are executed in a regal white, black, and varsity purple colorway, a nod to Bryant’s Los Angeles Lakers palette. Each shoe features a black Nike Swoosh outlined in gold stitching along the lateral panels, with carbon-fiber-style heel accents and segmented purple midsoles providing bold contrast. The padded purple mesh collars and Kobe “Sheath” logos embroidered on the tongues further distinguish the design, while subtle gold Nike branding appears at the lace beds.
Most notably, the left toe box bears Bryant’s flowing silver signature, cleanly executed and accompanied by an individual hologram authentication sticker (numbered “SH021392”), corresponding to the included Upper Deck Certificate of Authenticity.
