Don Drysdale received this wooden appreciation plaque for participating in Casey Stengels 80th birthday celebration at Shea Stadium (the original home of the Mets) on July 11 1970 in Flushing New York. The 14 wide by 17 high plaque sports a metal sheet on its surface that reads: Ninth Annual Oldtimers Day DON DRYSDALE In Appreciation of Your Participation in Casey Stengels 80th Birthday Celebration METS July 11 1970 Shea Stadium. A head-and-shoulder photo of Drysdale wearing his Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap completes the oversized plaque's presentation.
