2) 6/3/1994 Jerry West typed letter signed from the then Los Angeles Lakers Vice President/General Manager on his personal Lakers letterhead congratulating Chuck Daly on his 1994 Naismith Hall of Fame induction. PSA cert# T37565.
3) 7/19/1988 Pat Riley hand-written letter in beautiful calligraphy on his personal Los Angeles Lakers letterhead complimenting Chuck Daly on his team's performance in the 1988 NBA Finals. The Lakers defeated the Pistons 4 games to 3 in a very hard-fought series. In blue marker the note reads: "Chuck It was a privilege to be part of the finals with you. Right down to the wire and we got lucky. Chuck your the best and now your [sic] getting the credit for that both publicly and financially...I see that Jack finally saw the light...I hope and trust you have a great summer and I will see you along the way. Sincerely Pat." The note comes with its original envelope (branded with the Lakers logo) which was addressed in Riley's hand as well. PSA cert# T37557.
4) Pat Riley hand-written note (circa 1994) in beautiful calligraphy on his personal stationary congratulating Daly on his 1994 Naismith Hall of Fame induction. PSA cert# T37556.
5) Del Harris hand-written letter (circa 1999) to Chuck Daly from the former L.A. Lakers head coach. The message talks about it being "...a big loss to all of us 'non-players' to know your [sic] gone. You were always proof that basketball people are still essential..." Apparently this note was sent to Daly following his initial retirement in 1994. PSA cert# T37569.
Includes copy of LOA from Terry Daly Chuck's widow. Also comes with Letter of Provenance from Rich Behar owner of SportsCard Central who acquired many items directly from the Daly estate in 2010.
