The late Chuck Daly was the man who coached the Detroit Pistons to back-to-back NBA titles in 1989 and 90. He then coached the 1992 U.S. Mens Olympic Basketball Team dubbed The Dream Team to a gold medal in Barcelona Spain. Through his many years of coaching Daly crossed paths with countless other coaches and this lot features a prized white-panel Wilson basketball that boasts his signature as well as the autographs of 24 other hoops mentors who have made names for themselves in the round-ball world both in the NBA and college ranks. This Whos Who of Basketball coaches includes the signatures of Mike Krzyzewski Dean Smith Lute Olson Jim Calhoun Nolan Richardson Jack Ramsey Doug Moe Mike Fratello Larry Brown P.J. Carlesimo Bob Huggins Tubby Smith Lenny Wilkens Roy Williams Eddie Sutton Tom Izzo and Hubie Brown. A terrific basketball memento from Dalys personal collection of memorabilia.
Includes copy of LOA from Terry Daly Chuck's widow. Also comes with Letter of Provenance from Rich Behar owner of SportsCard Central who acquired many items directly from the Daly estate in 2010.
