Here are two complete New Jersey Nets practice-worn warmup suits from the legendary coach Chuck Daly who led the Detroit Pistons to consecutive National Basketball Association (NBA) Championships in 1989 and 1990 and the 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball team ("The Dream Team") to the gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Daly is a two-time Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee being inducted in 1994 for his individual coaching career and in 2010 was posthumously inducted as the head coach of the "Dream Team."The first is a Size XL nylon jacket made by DeLong of Grinnell Iowa. Coach Daly is embroidered in red on the front right breast and the jacket has the embroidered Nets logo patch on the left breast. Jacket is red white and blue nylon with fleece lining and elastic waist and cuffs. Jacket has Delong tagging on the back of the collar and is in superb condition showing usage but still essentially as-issued and problem-free and without alteration of any description. Companion pants also have DeLong labeling on the waistband (Long) with the identical Nets logo patch on the front left. All zippers on the jacket front pants and pockets are in working order and without incident.Second set is blue nylon with white and gray accents on the sleeves and a small Nets logo patch on the left front breast. It has Sahara tagging at the back of the collar with XL flag tag underneath and adjacent fabric content flag tag. Companion pants are also blue nylon with large flag tag at the waist and adjoining fabric content flag tag. All elements show usage but remain in standout condition problem-free and without visible alteration of any description. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from The Daily Collection.Includes copy of LOA from Terry Daly Chuck's widow. Also comes with Letter of Provenance from Rich Behar owner of SportsCard Central who acquired many items directly from the Daly estate in 2010.
