1) 1994 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Chuck Daly's handwritten notes for his acceptance speech at the ceremony on New Jersey Nets stationary. From the top it includes: "*Thanks Billy [Cunningham]. *Special Thanks - *Terry & Cyd [daughter] for all those nights - *All the teams that gave me an opportunity - Punxsutawney [high school] - Duke + Vic Bubas [head coach] - Boston College + Bill Flynn [AD] - Univ. of Pennsylvania + Fred Shabel [AD] - Phila 76ers + Billy C - Detroit Pistons particularly Jack McCloskey (GM) Isiah Thomas Joe Dumars Bill Laimbeer Vinnie Johnson Bill Davidson [owner] - New Jersey Nets - Willis [Reed] - U.S. Olympic Committee - * All the players who helped make it happen."
2) 1994 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Yearbook multi-signed on the back by 10 who attended the ceremony; 7 of which are HOF members. They include John Wooden John Havlicek Billy Cunningham Isiah Thomas Lou Carnesecca Tom Heinsohn and Henry Litwack. Current Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle Mike Abdenour (Pistons trainer) and Leonard ? round out the group. Wooden's autograph stands out the best in perfect 10/10 black Sharpie. Most of the others are in strong blue and black ballpoint. Program comes in NM condition. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
3) May 9 1994 First Day Cover stamped envelope signed by all five 1994 Naismith Hall of Fame inductees including Carol Blazejowski Buddy Jeannette Cesare Rubini Denny Crum and Chuck Daly. Envelope comes in pristine condition.
4) Group of four typed signed letters and documents between Chuck Daly and Naismith Hall of Fame President Joe O'Brien. They include: two consent forms - one signed by Daly dated 7/31/1994 (PSA cert# T36097) and the other signed by both Daly and O'Brien dated 8/1/1994 - from the Hall of Fame requesting to use Daly's signature name and likeness for marketing and products; a 7/8/1994 typed signed letter from O'Brien to Daly regarding this same matter of consent; and a 10/23/1995 typed signed letter from O'Brien to Daly regarding his 1995 HOF induction vote as a member of the selection committee.
5) Charles Daly Naismith Hall of Fame 2002 Enshrinement pin for his service on the selection committee.
Includes copy of LOA from Terry Daly Chuck's widow. Also comes with Letter of Provenance from Rich Behar owner of SportsCard Central who acquired many items directly from the Daly estate in 2010.
PSA/DNA COA (T36097) for one Hall of Fame consent form. PSA/DNA full LOA (S12261) for multi-signed yearbook. All others pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
