A young Pete Rose takes his spring training cuts in this rookie-era Type 1 photo. “The Hit King” was just beginning his career when the photo was taken, but his face shows the same look of determination he would display throughout his record-breaking career. This classic batting pose shot has been signed by Rose in bold red marker, adding “1963 ROY Charlie Hustle.” The reverse of the photo features a Cincinnati Reds credit stamp and the inscription “Rose” handwritten in pencil. The photo has been encapsulated by PSA and graded a Type 1 Authentic, and the signature is graded a perfect 10 Auto.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
