One would be hard-pressed to find a more dynamic image capturing the “Left Hand of God” as he prepares to fire a ball towards the plate. The background is artistically blurred, letting Koufax’s fully extended body take center stage. Although undated, the photo was taken during the 1960s, when the Dodgers’ ace pitched the team to two World Championships, won three Cy Young Awards, voted the World Series MVP twice, and led the NL in strikeouts in four seasons. The reverse of the photo has two Malcolm W. Emmons credit stamps, “1964” and various other handwritten notations. The photo has been encapsulated by PSA and graded a Type 1 Authentic.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method. Prior to bidding, please be aware of estimated shipping costs, especially for large or heavy lots.
