Complete umpiring set with plenty of wear and aging. Comes in a vintage metal suit case manufactured by the Priesmeyer Bros. Trunk Co. Items include:
Mask - Middle bar is broken and separated but still complete. Head straps are still present.
Spalding #1724 Shin guards: All buckles and straps are present. Padding in the knee area has been worn through to the plastic. Great wear.
Chest protectors: All straps are present and in tact. One protector shows excellent wear without any noticeable tears while the other has extensive wear with a 2" tear on the seam along the neck area. One protector has the inflatable bladder inside while the other is separate from the cover. Neither of the bladders would be inflatable due to aging issues.
Umpires Cap: Navy blue with plenty of sweat and wear.
Cup Protector with holder: Plenty of wear and fabric snags.
Full size Long Johns: Extensive discoloring due to sweat stains with plenty of holes and areas of repairs.
Other Equipment: Includes 4 brushes comb scraper cuff links with case sewing kit with scissors and thread a functioning counter and a counter that is broken but complete.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
