This exceptional Type 1 action shot highlights Lou Gehrig’s powerful home run swing. The dramatic full body image captures the intense concentration on Gehrig’s face and his muscular forearms and legs. Type 1s of Lou Gehrig are tough to obtain, and this awesome image counts as one of the best. The front of the photo has sharp contrasts and detail with full borders. The reverse has a Globe Photos stamp, various pencil and pen notations, and the remains of the original caption slug. The photograph measures 6.75” x 10” and has been encapsulated and graded a Type 1 by PSA.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
