Braves Field Boston's National League venue was located one mile west of Fenway Park. With a spacious playing field that had been designed during the Dead Ball Era the hardball arena served as the site for the 1936 All-Star Game and following the Braves' move to Milwaukee was purchased by Boston University in 1952. With its capacity to hold more fans than Fenway Braves Field was actually used by the Red Sox in the 1915 and 1916 World Series.

This nicely restored stadium relic is an aisle-end seat that boasts a 20 figural plate on one side that served as a row-number identifier at the historic Senior Circuit palace. Covered with a coat of dark-green paint this thick steel adornment features a 5-1/2"-diameter baseball likeness with "B" "NL" and "C" characters in relief. A diamond-themed design below is centered by a catcher's mitt image (also in relief). In white stenciled numerals "31" is painted at the center. The item is beautifully refurbished in green paint and remains structurally sound.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
