Offered here is a match-worn Adidas jersey from the August 7, 1982 FIFA World All-Star Game, a charity exhibition held for the benefit of UNICEF pitting a "Europe XI" against a "Rest of the World XI." The short-sleeve jersey is constructed in bright kelly green cotton with subtle white pinstripe detailing throughout.
It features a white V-neck collar, white ribbed cuff trim on the sleeves with Adidas three-stripe detailing in green, and the adidas Trefoil logo embroidered on the left chest. The right chest bears the official FIFA World All-Star Game for the Benefit of UNICEF emblem — a globe and football design — confirming the jersey's specific event origin. The front displays a bold applied "#14" numeral in white outline style. The reverse carries the same "#14" in a larger applied format. The jersey shows authentic match use throughout, with fabric softening and light soiling consistent with game wear.
This jersey was worn by Brazilian superstar Oscar, one of the most technically gifted midfielders of his generation, and comes directly from the Oscar Collection with his personal provenance authenticating the piece as match-worn from this landmark charity international featuring many of the world's greatest players.
The Oscar Bernardi Collection
This shirt comes from the personal collection of José Oscar Bernardi, better known as Oscar, who played for the Brazil National Team from 1977 to 1986. Included is a letter of provenance signed by Oscar. Most jerseys in the collection were obtained directly through player swaps after competition. Others were acquired via gifts or trade with footballers in Oscar’s wide network of teammates and friends. At age 71, he still resides in Brazil and is ready for his collection to be appreciated by others in the hobby.
