Actual Everlast boxing gloves from the August 13 1929 bout between Al "Battling Bronco of the Bronx" Singer and Gaston Charles. Singer won the fight with a 2nd round knockout. A year later in July 1930 Singer captured the World Lightweight Championship with a first round KO of champion Sammy Mandell. He would lose the title just four months later in November to Tony Canzoneri by a first round KO. Over his career he won 61 lost 9 with 2 draws. He is a member of the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Everlast gloves display excellent use and do not have any laces. Right glove signed on the inside "To SEYMOURE WITH BEST WISHES" and left glove signed "AUG. 13 1929 K. O. From AL SINGER".
