Here is a game-worn and autographed home jersey from Tony Gwynn one of the most popular National League stars of the modern era. This signed white button-down 1999 San Diego Padres home jersey features Gwynns signature in silver Sharpie vertically along the 1 on his number on the back with the unique addition of embroidered inscriptions below in navy blue indicating the details of hit Nos. 3047 and 3048 accumulated while wearing the jersey in question on 9-15-99 vs. Atlanta. The jersey features Padres across the front and Gwynns No. 19 on the front and back in navy blue tackle twill. Gwynn appears across the back of the jersey in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly to the shirt. The front tail of the jersey features a RUSSELL ATHLETIC manufacturers tag with size 50 and a fabric content flag tag below; there are handwritten notations in blue marker of the two hit numbers place and date as indicated on the back in chain stitching. The left sleeve of the jersey features the embroidered San Diego Padres 30th Anniversary logo patch while the right sleeve features a stitched navy blue Russell logo. Jersey shows game use and is problem-free and without visible alteration or repair of any description. Comes with an LOA from the Family of Tony Gwynn.
