This full ticket would have permitted its owner to witness baseball history: Pete Rose breaking Ty Cobb’s career hits record. The game took place at Cincinnati’s Riverfront Stadium on September 11, 1985, with the historic hit number 4, 192 coming in the 1st inning off San Diego’s Eric Show. “The Hit King” would go on to record a total of 4,256 career hits, a record that will likely never be surpassed. The ticket has been encapsulated by PSA and graded NM 7. Of the 66 fulls in PSA's pop report, 14 are graded higher. (It should be noted that a PSA VG 3 example sold for $2,500 in May.)
