1985 saw Wade Boggs bat a career best .368, to go along with 78 RBI. This was Boggs' second AL batting title, and he led all of baseball in batting average as well. He finished a career-best 4th in AL MVP voting for his efforts.

 

Presented is a Worth W226 bat used by Boggs during that unbelievable 1985 season. The uncracked bat shows excellent use. His number 26 is written on the knob in black marker. Boggs signed and inscribed the barrel in blue permanent marker. PSA/DNA has authenticated the autograph, and PSA/DNA's bat expert John Taube has deemed the bat to be a GU 9.
